General Information
This is the first annual Wasatch Back Art Festival located in the beautiful Heber Valley, Utah. We seek to support all artists in selling their original diverse artworks. All work must be the artists original creation, NO BUY AND SELL WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Application
Read the terms and conditions information for important details prior to applying. Send your artist bio, booth shot and 3 images of your art along with requested booth type to info@WasatchBackArtFestival.com. Please check for confirmation of receipt of application. Applications will be accepted through July 4th.
Acceptance of Offer to Exhibit
Acceptance is not guaranteed. An artist, who is selected and accepts our invitation to exhibit, has implicitly agreed to WBAF terms and conditions. Acceptance notifications will be via email. All artists will need to accept their invitation and remit a booth fee.
Participation in the Wasatch Back Art Festival means you accept a certain degree of responsibility to partner with all artists in creating a positive fine art event. By submitting your application, you agree to support and adhere to all festival rules and regulations.
Booth Type and Fees:
- 10x10’ Booth for individual artist or a shared booth with 2 artists maximum is $125
-10x20’ Booth for individual artist or a shared with 2 artists maximum is $250
Booth Fees are due upon acceptance and are not refundable after July 1st.

Terms and Conditions:
Set up
Friday July 26th- Check in starts at 8am, check in prior to unloading. Artists should be fully set up by noon if possible. Show runs through 8pm.
Saturday July 27th – Show hours are from 10am to 6pm.
Sales Tax
Heber City Sales tax is 6.45% Each artist is required to collect and report their own sales tax through the Utah Tax Commission. If you have tax questions contact the Special Event Sales Tax Department directly at specialevent@utah.gov or 801-297-6303.
Display
Artists provide their own tent and/or display equipment. ALL CANOPIES MUST HAVE ADEQUATE WEIGHTS WITH A MINIMUM OF 40LBS OR MORE ON EACH CORNER. STAKES ARE NOT ALLOWED at the Heber Main Park. Use heavy weights be prepared for all kinds of weather.
Insurance
Artists must carry their own insurance. If your display were to fall over and hurt someone or damage another artists work, it will be considered your responsibility.
Security
There will be a security detail provided by Tokouso Protection Services on Friday evening through Saturday morning to keep an eye on all of the booths.
Unloading and Parking
Artists may unload at the closest available parking spot to their booth. Limited driving in the park will be available with prior approval. Do not drive over sprinkler boxes, drive slowly, turn gently on the grass and remove your vehicle as soon as possible. Please move your vehicle to a location some distance from the park to ensure parking options for shoppers. There is ample parking directly to the East Across Main Street in the Police Station Parking Lot. Use the crosswalk to return - be very careful crossing Main Street.
Booth Sitters
Booth sitters will be available for short breaks. They are not allowed to sell art or manage sales transactions and are not liable for any loss or claims. Text or call Sherry at 435-671-2374 if you need a break during the event. Restrooms are available at the South End of the Park.
Location of Booths
WBAF will assign booths with location preferences in the order of booth payments. WBAF reserves the right to make booth location adjustments as needed but will make every attempt to honor artist requests. Booths are spaced 6 to 10 feet apart to allow for viewing on all sides and to facilitate easier set up and tear down. Please be considerate of your fellow artists.
Art on Display
We wish to build a fine art reputation. WBAF reserves the right to evaluate all art on display for appropriate subject matter.
Images Agreement and Permissions
All participating WBAF artists agree to allow WBAF to use images, photos and video of themselves and their artwork for publicity purposes and to promote WBAF events in general. We encourage all marketing and social media posting that is mutually beneficial.
Take Down
Do not bring your vehicle into the park during festival hours. Proceed with caution. Be considerate of others. DRIVE SLOWLY! Be sure to remove all trash from your space.
